welcome! I’m Em.
I’m so happy to connect with you. I'm a huge believer in holistic wellness and supporting root cause healing. Wherever this space finds you, whether it's top of the mountain or at the bottom looking up, I’d welcome the opportunity to support you.
I work with people around the world both remotely and in person in Seattle, Washington. I help my clients achieve optimal wellness through nutrition and a bio-individual, root cause approach. Close to eight years ago I went through my own health crisis with a vestibular condition (with several labels) after the birth of my second child which entirely shifted my perspective and gifted me the opportunity create (or really, recreate) my health.
This then led to me writing two books and connecting with individuals around the globe experiencing vestibular neuritis, vestibular migraines, migraine associated vertigo, persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD), cervicogenic dizziness, Meniere’s disease, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), Mal de Débarquement (among other vestibular conditions), autoimmune conditions, toxicity issues and mystery or unwanted symptoms.
Journeying through my own health storm inspired me to further tap into my healer nature and specialize in supporting those navigating vestibular conditions and any chronic illness.
I am certified with the Nutritional Therapy Association as well as the American Fitness Professionals and Associates. I’m a Holistic Nutritionist, Autoimmune Holistic Nutrition Specialist, and Youth Nutrition Specialist, with a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. I also studied under Dr. Mindy Pelz and am a Fast Like a Girl Certified Coach.
I would love to support you in addressing your health goals.
Thank you for visiting! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
CREATING CHRONIC
WELLNESS
A little bit more about me…
I’m a mom of two beautiful boys that are my light and love in the universe.
My practice is located in Seattle (USA), but I also connect with people remotely from around the world.
I'm most comfortable when my hair has some pink color in it, and I've got a matcha latte in hand.
I've embraced a wholesome plant-forward diet and lifestyle since 2009, because it provides the sustenance for my happy soul. Simply put, it changed my life and how I approach food and my health. I'm a lover of delicious and nourishing foods. My perfect morning is a cozy latte packed with healthy fats.
My happy place is walking or hiking, just feeling my body work for me. I also am a big fan of writing, dream setting, and connecting and inspiring with others wanting to make the most out of this life.
If I’m not chasing my boys around, I’m most likely out and about exploring with my family, in my kitchen making a delicious meal and listening to a podcast, connecting with the universe, or reading from my never-ending list of books.
My Approach
Your current health stasis, environment, lifestyle, bodily strengths and weaknesses, and life situations all influence what your body needs to heal and thrive. Our work together will focus on the building blocks for creating vibrant health through a nutrient-dense diet and incorporating healing modalities addressing the underlying issues of ill health in the body. I will help you harness your body’s healing ability and you’ll receive a personalized and natural protocol to support your health. You will learn the root cause of your symptoms, replenish any nutrient deficiencies, remove toxins as needed, and create balance in the body to support self-healing.
I evaluate my clients' nutritional needs and imbalances and support rebalance using the foundations of nutrition, digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids, mineral balance and hydration. Each of these six foundations supports proper function and overall health in the body. Your health is a collaboration of these foundations.
There is never a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to supporting health naturally and from the inside out.
I believe that taking a bio-individual approach to healing is crucial, especially for those going through a health crisis or experiencing unwanted symptoms. We should all be in the driver's seat when it comes to our health as we navigate the twists and turns of this life.

My health journey
In the autumn of 2016, I was hit with vestibular neuritis, which triggered a cycle of vestibular migraines. No relief in between episodes. I had just returned to work earlier that month from my maternity leave. My boys were two years old and three months old. There are so many details that blur together that first year, but that first week I remember so clearly. Crawling around my house because walking felt impossible. If I did walk, I was holding onto the walls because spatially I was disconnected from myself. My husband gently placing our newborn in my arms so I could feed him. I remember quietly sobbing as I fed him. Seeing multiple doctors and trying to make it clear what had happened and how I felt. I was angry with the world when I realized that no doctor was going to fix me or had even understood my situation (at that time). I remember being scared and without answers.
One of the biggest factors with vestibular conditions is that they are invisible to the world. I could be standing in the grocery store barely handling the blaring lights, feeling like I was swaying on a moving dock to the waves, my eyes working overtime to make the world stay in place, and full body anxiety coursing like fire to my system, and the lady behind me could compliment me on how put-together I looked with my two little boys. In moments like that I could only smile back, but later cry in the shower because keeping up a façade of "I'm totally ok" is exhausting.
Jump to now, me in a grounded state having recreated my health & wellness. I believe that we can heal from the inside out. It's not instantaneous by any stretch and it takes patience and time. It doesn't necessarily mean we're exactly the same as we once were, but healing from the inside out is empowering and life changing.
