IMPROVE GUT HEALTH, the power of digestion & your complete probiotic formula

Hi out there! Em here, and I’m excited to share this beautiful opportunity with you as we dance into a new season. If you’re new here, welcome. A little about me: I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in Seattle, WA, and work with people around the world in creating chronic wellness.

STARTING POINT

For a majority of my clients, focusing on gut health is a priority. The gut has the ability for self-repair. It comes down to removing what’s triggering inflammation or disrupting the microbiome, replace and replenish nutrients your body needs to nourish a healthy microbiome, and adding in support for repairing the intestinal lining (if needed).

STEPS TO IMPROVE GUT HEALTH

When journeying through my own health crisis with a chronic illness, taking the below steps changed my life. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but rather a process that led me back to vibrant health. I encourage you to stick to the following for at least a month to start to see the magic that happens. Of course, if you are looking for more personalized support, I’d be happy to work with you. You can learn more about my offerings here.

YOUR DIET

A high-fiber diet, with many plants, is super important when it comes to a favorable microbiome. A healthy gut needs to be nourished. Your body needs a wide variety of plant foods to truly thrive.

Including a rainbow of plants in your diet provides the micronutrients and phytochemicals your gut needs to cool inflammation, restore the integrity of the gut lining, and feed a happy microbiome.

PREBIOTICS & PROBIOTICS

Prebiotic-rich foods (many vegetables, nuts & seeds, fruits, and resistant starches) serve as food for a healthy gut. Prebiotics provide nourishment for probiotics, so they can thrive and multiply in the gut.

Probiotic-rich foods (coconut yogurt, pickled vegetables, kimchi, sauerkraut or the like) help rebuild a health microbiome, improve elimination and detoxification, reduce inflammation, restore the immune system, and improve mood.

Overview: Eat 8-10 servings of vegetables and fruit each day. This will automatically increase your fiber intake.

SUPPLEMENT

What are probiotics?

Probiotics are helpful bacteria and yeasts (microorganisms) that help support your overall health. If your diet is rich in lacto-fermented foods and your gut health is not impaired, you may not need to supplement with a probiotic.

Basically, probiotics can help support healing. Clinical studies have shown that they can reduce insulin resistance, support clearing of constipation, bloating and diarrhea, improve weight loss, reduce stress, improve sleep quality and memory.

Sakara carries my favorite Complete Probiotic Formula because it contains 11 Probiotic Strains, Digestive Enzymes, Systemic Enzymes and Prebiotic Fiber. It’s a powerhouse.

SAKARA COMPLETE PROBIOTIC DETAILS

Digestive Enzymes help the body break down food, ease bloating, and support increased nutrition absorption.

Systemic Enzymes support a healthy inflammation response and the body’s natural healing processes.

And we already talked about the power of prebiotics and probiotics above!

My suggestion:

Try this supplement for a couple of months, then reduce to a few days/week.

Start with one pill, once a day. You can increase to a therapeutic dosage of up to four pills daily, as desired.

MEAL TIME

Find the joy in the moment. Eating in a relaxed state has been shown to improve digestion. The point is to enjoy your food and the love you’ve put into it.

I hope that you’ve found these tips helpful.

I highly recommend the Gut Health Reboot. As a happy reminder, if you’re looking to jump in with any of Sakara’s meals or Nutrition Programs, you get 20% off with code XOBLISSOUT at checkout.
