Nourish your cells WITH DIET

Your cells are the basic building blocks of your body and need nourishment to keep you healthy and well. Diet plays a crucial role in giving your cells what they need so you can heal, recover and ultimately thrive.

Below are a few shifts you could consider making in your life to heal your cells. Also, if you are looking for deeper support, be sure to book a Morphogenic Field Technique session which is a beautiful communication with your cells and finding out what your body needs but doesn’t have, which toxins it has that it wants to get rid of, and what your cells need to create homeostasis in your body (basically, your vitality).

HEAL YOUR CELLS

There are personal risk factors beyond our control when it comes to our health. This includes our individual DNA (things we are born with) and family medical history which can create a predisposition to certain diseases. However, there are many elements within our control, and this is a really important fact because we have the power to impact our cells, especially through the lifestyle we embrace.

One of things we most often can control is our diet. Within this control we actually can then lower our risk for certain health conditions and can prevent disease.

We face challenges to health in this human experience simply because of modern society. Processed foods and products that increase our exposure to toxins are two big ones. The status of earth presents extra challenges for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

We are going to focus on what you can control.

NOURISH YOUR CELLS

The food that we eat is the foundation of our health. It quite literally fuels our cells, providing us with the sustenance we need to experience vibrant wellness. However, if our food is packed with toxins and chemicals, or often not really even wholesome food at all, it does quite the opposite.

I encourage you to listen to your body. That intuition will get clearer in time.

Focus on eating whole foods and organic whenever possible. Embrace the rainbow of color in food from the earth, especially vegetables and fruits. If you do eat meat & dairy, educate yourself on factory farming and understand that quality really (really) matters.

I think it's important that we talk about the stuff we want to reduce (or ditch) first. We'll get that out of the way and then jump into the blissful foods.

reduce/remove from your diet

REFINED SUGARS: cane sugar, brown sugar, corn sweetener, fruit juice concentrate, malt sugar, fructose, dextrose and sucrose. High-frucose corn syrup is toxic.

REFINED CARBOHYDRATES, FAST FOOD, JUNK FOOD AND ULTRA PROCESSED FOODS: If it comes in a package and doesn’t resemble anything close to real food, it’s probably not serving you.

HYDROGENATED OILS: Palm, canola, vegetable oil - these oils are not food at all.

CHEMICAL additives, dyes and/or artificial sweeteners.

foods to increase in your diet

Organically grown, wholesome foods are the bliss!

Vegetables, fruit, healthy fats, nourishing proteins...

What whole foods are you drawn to? Grab those. Eating an organic, plant-focused diet is a gamechanger.

basic grocery list

Reminder: Choose organic whenever possible.

FRUITS: avocado, berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries), bananas, mango, apples, pineapple, papaya, kiwi, passion fruit, coconut, lemon, lime, tangerine, and any fresh/frozen fruit you desire

FATS/OILS: avocado oil, coconut meat and oil, nuts (almonds, cashews, brazil, chestnuts, hazelnuts, macadamia, pecans, walnuts), seeds (sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds), cacao butter, grass-fed ghee/butter (if eating animal products)

[this list is no way inclusive of all the goodness in a wholesome plant-forward diet]

important notes

There are probably some foods that are not on the ditch or include list on the previous pages and you're wondering if they are "ok". This list is not meant to be inclusive of every food you can (and should) eat.

Ask yourself: Is this a real food? That's a great starting point. This is not about perfection. Ok? This is just about fueling beautiful you.

As you start to feel better though and the bliss is flowing, you will gravitate towards the foods that make you feel really freaking awesome.

Keep your kitchen stocked with healthy fats and your favorite fruits and veggies. These foods are blissful and life-giving. I want your cells supported, brain active and your metabolism happily doing its thing.

This food gives your body the ability to naturally detox all while flooding it with nutrition for vibrant health.

Our body stores toxins in fat to keep harmful substances away from our critical organs and functions. When we focus on eating nourishing, anti-inflammatory foods, the body is given the opportunity to release toxins and heal.
